Rob Pavey
Rob
Pavey, who pens a weekly outdoors column for The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle,
has been an avid angler and hunter ever since he realized he had neither
the aptitude nor the desire to take up golf. He has been a full-time
journalist for 24 years covering - among other things - politics,
government, and the environment. He has edited or authored three reference
books on fishing history and antique fishing tackle; and his freelance
work has appeared in publications including Field & Stream magazine
and Gray’s Sporting Journal. He lives in Evans, Ga., with his wife,
Tammi; twin stepsons Forrest and Ian; a precocious 6-year-old named
Harrison; and a 90-pound bloodhound named Daisy.

"A first gobbler, like a first kiss, is a memory to cherish forever"
