Don Rhodes
Ramblin' Rhodes: Don Rhodes, publications editor of Morris Communications Co., is the longest running country music
columnist in America with his weekly column marking its 36th anniversary in late October 2006. He was the first to
publish newspaper interviews with The Judds (Naomi and Wynonna), Ronnie Dunn (Brooks & Dunn), Alabama, and several
other of today's stars. His column rambles on the by-ways of country music including gospel, blues, western and
folk. His articles also have appeared in such national magazines as Music City News, Country Music, Bluegrass
Now, Bluegrass Unlimited, Frets, Muleskinner News, Pickin' and Smithsonian Notes. He writes about the struggling
unknowns, the music legends and historical aspects of American country music.
